The music ministry consists of a “graded choir” program, which provides opportunities for musical learning and musical expression for all ages. The primary goal of each group is to equip its members to lead in worship and witness through music.
* Preschool Choir - Sundays at 5:00 PM - Heather Hale and Bonnie Coleman, directors. 4 and 5 year olds meet weekly to learn basic musical skills and enjoy musical experiences.
* Children’s Choir – Sundays at 5:00 PM – Robin Crosby, director. Children in grades 1-6 meet weekly to learn musical skills for children. They also learn songs for worship and present musicals.
* The Sanctuary Choir – Wednesdays at 7:30 PM – This performing group for adults rehearses weekly and performs each Sunday morning. They also provide music on special occasions as well as presenting two musical productions each year.
* The Newton Victory Ringers – Tuesdays at 7:00 PM – This is the Adult Handbell Choir. This group meets weekly to prepare music for special occasions and events.
* Various small groups of singers and instrumentalists meet periodically as opportunity and need allows. Solo vocalists and instrumentalists are encouraged and involved in worship opportunities throughout the year.
